Appropriately coined 'the iPod of the book world', Amazon's literary hit could be getting a second edition as soon as this February.
Having already announced that they intend to launch a sequel to the original Kindle some time this year, Amazon have rounded up the press troops to converge on the New York City's Morgan Library and Museum on February 9th.
The original Kindle launched back in 2007, has been somewhat of a surprising success for the major online stockists. 400,000 units have been sold stateside according to internet research by the Citigroup Investment research group.
Amazon are remaining rather coy on whether they will use this opportunity to announce the new model, let alone what new features we can look to get our hands on.
What are our hopes for the new Kindle? Well we would like to see something done about the price first of all, perhaps a little play around with the button layout , but apart from that, we'll happily carry this ...
