Contract chip makers Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) and United Microelectronics (UMC) are likely to land chip orders for Apple ’s (AAPL) yet-to-be-announced iPhone nano, according to DigiTimes , picking up on a story in the Chinese language Economic Daily News .
The report says the chip orders could come in March, with the new version of the iPhone expected in June at the earliest.
