CES Press Day marches on. While Tiernan is over at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the Sony (SNE) press conference, I’m in the long, long line at the Venetian waiting to get into the ballroom where Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer will give this year’s kick-off keynote for this year’s Consumer Electronics Show .
Steve is expected to talk about Windows 7, the successor to Vista. Robbie Bach , who runs the company’s consumer device business is also in town; he’s holding a briefing for securities analysts tomorrow afternoon, which makes it seem likely the presentation will include some discussion of the Xbox or Zunes.
But that’s still more than an hour a way. So for now, I wait.
