Dell: Euro Ops To Poland From Ireland; Cuts 1,900 Jobs

 
Dell (DELL) this morning confirmed that it is shutting its production facility in Limerick, Ireland, resulting in the loss of 1,900 jobs, and shifting manufacturing to Poland and to third-party manufacturers. The move is the latest in a series of steps the company is taking to reduce costs. Dell this morning is down 13 cents, or 1.2%, to $11.02. (link)
