Dell (DELL) this morning confirmed that it is shutting its production facility in Limerick, Ireland, resulting in the loss of 1,900 jobs, and shifting manufacturing to Poland and to third-party manufacturers.
The move is the latest in a series of steps the company is taking to reduce costs.
Dell this morning is down 13 cents, or 1.2%, to $11.02.
