Dell Mini 10 netbook hits the UK market

Well, just like it did with the Mini 12 , Tesco has blown the whistle on Dell's latest netbook offering, the Dell Mini 10. In fact, it's even selling them online right now. On the face of it, this is your average 10-inch netbook, packing a 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, a webcam and Windows XP. But there's also the added bonus of a HD-friendly 720p glass screen with 16:9 resolution, a multi-touch trackpad and if we're getting what Dell promised at the launch, a TV tuner and GPS. If it made tea and had an optical drive, we would be in netbook heaven. Although having a drive would probably rule it out of being a netbook. So does that extra value mean extra cash at the checkout? Well, no. Tesco is knocking out the Dell Mini 10 for a credit crunch-friendly £349, which is cheaper than your average 10-inch Eee and less than half the price of an entry level Sony Vaio P .
