Dell smartphones rumoured to be near launch

Ok, this has been touted previously , but renewed speculation is pointing at the imminent launch of not one, but two Dell smartphones. And the launch could be in a matter of weeks. The reports are from the Wall Street Journal , which claims two handsets have been built, 'a touchscreen but no physical keyboard' (think iPhone) and a 'slider-style phone with a keypad and that slides from beneath the screen' (think Palm Pre). And just to confuse things further, those handsets are currently running two operating systems, the expected Windows Mobile and the very 'now' Android. We know which one we're most excited about. According to the Wall Street Journal, 'people familiar with the matter'  point to a launch at the 3GSM trade show in Barcelona on February 15th. We're not convinced, not least because we haven't seen a blurry photo of the proposed handsets as yet.
