The Apple iPhone 3G has made a lot of things possible that we once thought weren't entirely necessary, but now seem integral to staying alive.
In the days before Facebook existed for instance, the human race somehow managed to survive and meet and reproduce perfectly fine. Now though, we can't go five minutes without checking the Facebook App on our iPhones, and the whole courting debacle has (thankfully) been reduced to series of carefully timed 'pokes'.
In a bid to turn us into the habitual couch-goblins that Wall-E predicts we're moving towards, social networking iPhone apps are hell-bent on making the world smaller. This gradual spoiling of our connective needs has come to a head now with Fring.
