Horizon reveals MiniPak charger at CES 2009

The boffins over at Horizon have come up with a pocket-size, eco-friendly electronics charger which will impress even Green Peace. The first hydrogen powered mobile phone charger, the MiniPak - which is suitable to charge mobile phones, MP3s, PDAs, gaming and GPS devices - is a newly developed high-capacity solid hydrogen battery. The long-lasting cartridge doesn’t contain any mercury, lead or cadmium and can be re-used hundreds of times. And Horizon claim it’s the ‘world’s first eco-friendly, low cost, and high performance alternative to conventional batteries’. No release date just yet, but we’ll keep you posted.   | T3's CES coverage is powered by Canon        T3 at CES 2009 The only place to get your daily dose from the Vegas tech extravaganza Get the CES 2009 lowdown (link)
