The Touch Diamond was slim and sleek. This model is neither, thanks to the bulk and weight added by a slide-out keyboard. And although the TouchFlo 3D carapace hiding Windows Mobile is swish and elegant, it's sometimes slow, though better in landscape format with the keyboard slid out. Flat keys mean typing isn't as fluid as it should be. But the hi-res screen is fantastic: photographs shine. You magnify them by the spin of the finger, which is neat. The 3.2-megapixel camera at least has a flash, though is unexceptional. Like the iPhone, there's no haptic response on the touchscreen. You can't get far in Windows Mobile without a stylus and this one wakes the screen and launches OneNote when you remove it. Still, if you liked the Diamond this is a good work-oriented version. (link)
