Jean-Michel Jarre-designed iPod speaker hits the market

Is there no end to Jean-Michel Jarre's talents? Not content with bringing bland electronic lift music to the masses, it turns out he's also something of a gadget designer with his AeroSystem iPod speaker now available to buy. Going for the 'more is more' concept, Jarre has knocked up an imposing metal and glass tower with 60s-style graphic decoration and more importantly, 2x 20W speakers and 45W subwoofer for blasting out that old school electronica. Of course it also charges your player and does have connectivity for other players, although where said players will balance is open to question. We like the sleek remote control, but can't say we're over-enthused by the 450 Euros price tag. Not that it matters - this is only available in France right now.
