Lenovo Idea Center A600 launches

If you fancy an all-in-one, but don't fancy going down the Apple route, Lenovo could be your saviour with its Idea Center A600. A stylish little number, the A600 goes one up on the iMac by offering a well-proportioned 21.5-inch full HD frameless screen and Blu-ray burner for high-def thrills, along with a TV tuner, ATI graphics card, up to 4GB of memory and 1TB of storage and a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The matching wireless accessories are part of the deal too, with that remote control rather cleverly doubling up as a VoIP handset. And if you want to keep your personal browsing habits private, there's even face recognition security. All good, but not half as good as the price. According to the corporate blurb, the A600 will start at a credit crunch-friendly £687. It's heading to CES right now, expect it in the UK in a matter of weeks.
