MSI GT627 gaming laptop launches

Gaming on the go? The MSI GT627 could be right up your street. Newly-launched, the MSI GT627 is a 15.4-inch laptop, offering a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and for the first time on an MSI machine, the 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GS GPU. There's also 320GB of storage, a 2 megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi all the connectivity you'll ever need (including HDMI) and the optional to go HD with a Blu-ray drive. Downside? Well, it's not exactly the best looker on the market and at 5.8 pounds in weight, not the lightest on your lap either. But if you're just after something fit for purpose this just might be your baby if the price is right. Sadly, that's something MSI is keeping tight-lipped about just now.
