Remember MySpace? It's what we all used before we discovered Facebook, Twitter and any number of other short-lived social networks. To be fair, it's still widely-used, especially by bands. And if you happen to be one of its current users, you might want to check out the enhanced MySpace application for the BlackBerry.
The old application was certainly successful with over 400,000 downloads in its week of launch alone and over a million of you are apparently still feverishly checking your friend lists by phone each and every month. You might do it even more with the latest improvements.
Those include new language support (French, Italian, German, and Spanish), viewing of friend updates via phone (just click on a thumbnail), enhanced band profiles, including tours dates and venue details and better messaging, the latter offering instantaneous notifications and messaging on mobile, along with the option to edit and save draft messages.
