Nikon announces wide-angle Coolpix P90 hybrid cam

Nikon has slipped a new entry into its Coolpix range, the P90. It’s a compact camera which boasts some of the hallmarks of an SLR and packs a features set normally reserved for much larger snappers.   Packing a 12.1 megapixel censor and 24x wide-angle optical zoom, the P90 also lets you shoot close-ups as near as 1cm. Just make sure you don’t bang the lens on your unsuspecting subject.   ISO sensitivity is up at a monstrous 16,400, plus there’s a range of scene modes and functions to improve your shots, including Anti-blur, Auto Scene and Face Priority AF with additional smile and blink detection.   The Nikon Coolpix P90 will be landing on shelves on March 13 th , at the price of £379.99.   Link : Nikon (via TechRadar ) (link)
