Nokia is a company well known for playing it safe. Far from being one to break moulds and set trends, the mobile giant likes to stick to its strengths.
You won’t have needed a crystal ball to have seen a handset like the 6720 Classic on the horizon then; a candybar handset with middling specs that does nothing outstanding but everything well. The curved design seems very en vogue in Nokia HQ at the moment since it and the also just-announced 6710 are sporting the look, which Nokia suggests makes holding the handset a lot easier during calls.
The Classic sports a 5.0-megapixel Carl Zeiss camera and a dual LED flash, with GPS and geo-tagging all rounding things off with typical Finnish finesse. Top drawer active noise-cancelling tech is a nice touch; a company first and promises to give you crystal clarity calls.
The Nokia 6720 Classic is expected to drop in the Spring for around £250.
