Nokia's adding to their line of Enterprise smartphones this week at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, with the E55 SureType QWERTY handset - the world's most compact smartphone, apparently.
Looking like an updated E71, the E55 is the smallest Nokia email device, boasting the usual email, calendar and contacts syncable through Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes. It's got the latest version of Nokia's Email client, and is offering improved search technology for contacts, and the ability to remotely access company directories. Running on the S60 platform Nokia's known for, there's HSDPA internet, Wi-Fi and 60MB of internal memory. Don't fret over the memory, as they'll also include a 2GB microSD card to whack in the slot.
In terms of hardware, the handset measures just 9.9mm thin and weighs 98g, with the display 2.4-inches (320 x 240). The E55 also has a 3.2-megapixel camera, and a standby time of almost a month. What a battery life! A-GPS and N-Gage technology means you'll never ...
