Olympus reveals a selection of cameras at CES 2009
With the announcement of at least nine new models, it’s safe to say Olympus has taken care of all your photographic needs for 2009.
First up - both boasting 10 megapixel and Tap control – the TOUGH-6000 and 12 megapixel TOUGH-8000, will be coming to a shop near you in January. But prices have yet to be confirmed – for any of their new models actually.
Then those crazy kids at Olympus will launch three budget-priced cameras, including a 10 megapixel FE-5000 with 5x optical zoom, a 12 megapixel / 3x zoom, and a 10 megapixel / 3x zoom, which will be available to buy before March.
Then, if that isn’t enough to fill your boots, there’s also the 10 megapixel Stylus 550WP which is water-resistant up to three meters, and will be in shops from February in crystal blue, pure white and midnight black.
Completing the line-up is the Stylus 9000, boasting the credentials of being the smallest 10x zoom / 12 megapixel camera on market and is debuting in February along with ...
