Pay as you go Apple iPhone launched

It’s been a long time coming, but Apple have finally unleashed a PAYG iPhone for the masses. Say goodbye to hefty long-term contracts, the iPhone 3G is now available from O2 stores or online.   Apple is charging £342.50 for the 8GB version and £391.45 for the 16GB (the latter is available in both black and white). Although buyers will have to use O2’s Pay & Go service, the iPhone 3G comes bundled with a generous 12 months of unlimited web browsing via 3G and Wi-Fi. Link:   Apple   Is this the future of phones?
