Well, PlayStation Home has been around for a matter of days, yet already some clever souls have managed to make their own mark on the virtual world. Illegally of course.
According to reports, developers have managed to tweak the software's code to watch movies on the screens within the world and to download profiles and avatars. All fairly harmless? Well, not quite. There's also a way of uploading and replacing files on the Home server - and where there's an upload opportunity, there's usually a virus or something equally malicious just around the corner.
So far Sony hasn't addressed the issues, but it is patching the system from today. Unfortunately, the C-931 patch offered is for unrelated 'connection issues' rather than the wider issue of tightening up the system, so don't expect much outside of easier access.
In the meantime, be careful out there kids.
