Depreciation of our currency will see the price of the Nintendo Wii go up soon , but it's not all bad news in the world of consoles. If you fancy a Sony offering, you might just bag a bargain in the near future.
That's according to CVG , which claims Sony has informed a major high street retailer of a price drop 'soon' for both the PlayStation 3 console and the PSP handheld. When 'soon' actually is isn't very clear, nor is the amount of the price cut. But any price cut is fine by us, making the best value Blu-ray player on the market even more essential.
On the record, retailers are less chatty, with Game and GameStation's PR man saying only: 'Price drops are always welcome, but can't I give you any specifics.' Which we'll take as a 'yes'. When the specifics are available, you'll certainly be the first to know.
