PS3 plagued by Trophy glitch

  Sony’s tactic of frequent, minor software upgrades for the PlayStation 3 has many strengths and weaknesses. This approach has let Sony quickly introduce new features and upgrades to the platform, many of which we couldn’t now imagine being without, but with little time to extensively test these updates, it has led to a few disruptive bugs.   Players are now reporting a bug that has been messing up the Trophy system, interrupting games and even making some unplayable without undergoing a lengthy fixing process. Problems seem to appear after you make changes to your PSN ID login details – for example swapping passwords or switching your registered email address. The result is glitch in the Trophy sync data, offering up an error code (80022D11) and a message saying that the saved data has been created by another user and cannot be used.   It is so far known to have affected WipEout HD, Burnout Paradise, LittleBigPlanet, Pain, PixelJunk Eden and Soul Calibur ...
