Resident Evil Classics coming to Nintendo Wii

The long-awaited launch of Resident Evil 5 has got a lot Resident Evil fans extremely excited, but has left Wii owners in the lurch. Fortunately Capcom has something special in mind for Nintendo’s faithful – a pair of Resident Evil Classics, specially redesigned for the Wii Remote controls.   Okay, you might be thinking that with a mere pair of remakes, you’re still being short changed, especially compared to the brand new, high definition entry to the series that Xbox 360 and PS3 owners are currently enjoying. However, Resident Evil Classics includes a remake of Resident Evil for the GameCube, arguably one of the greatest entries in the series so far. Better even that Resident Evil 4, some might say.   Just to add to the confusion, Resident Evil for the GameCube was itself a remake of the original PSOne title.
