We usually leave the research to the men in white coats, but the arrival of Samsung's 'bendy' OLED screen is hard to ignore.
A video of the folding unit, presumed to be a prototype media player/phone, has just appeared on YouTube , shot at a recent trade show in Japan. Details are scarce, but video seems to show a large screen Samsung-branded media player with the ability to fold shut without a break in the screen, exposing a second touch screen panel on the front, along with some basic 'call' buttons.
Large screen media playback meets pocket-sized phone and it could be the future of mobile phones as soon as 2009. Our current mobiles are suddenly looking very dated - don't let us down with the final product Samsung.
