Samsung is having a love-in with Symbian - the I7110 smartphone being the resultant offspring. Actually, it's more of a smart phone than a smartphone, with a sleek metallic exterior, super-sharp 2.6-inch AMOLED screen (even in direct sunlight) and a distinct leaning towards play rather than work.
That means a format-friendly music and video player, 5MP camera with auto focus, smile/blink functions and LED flash, FM radio, 3D games, GPS navigation, 50MB of internal storage, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and an 8-way optical mouse.
If all that floats your boat, the I7110 is slated for a release in Russia next month, followed by a wider Euro launch soon after.
