Sony Ericsson has used the MTV Music Awards to launch its latest music-friendly handset - the W705 Walkman phone.
As you might expect with the Walkman brand, the W705 is tuned to your tunes, with shake control track selection, FM radio, Clear Bass, Clear Stereo and a pair of premium headphones for note-perfect reproduction. But it isn't a one trick pony, there's also a YouTube app for lovers of grainy video, Google Maps and a 3.2MP camera.
Finishing things off is a 2.4-inch screen with auto-rotating display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. And you know what? It's a phone too, a quad-band one if you're after specifics. Look out for it in early 2009 in Luxury Silver and Passionate Red. No, we're not making those names up.
