Toshiba announces Camileo S10 camcorder to rival Flip

Toshiba today unveiled the Camileo S10 camcorder, which measures just 18mm thick and records 1080p video.   Set to rival the Flip Mino and Creative Vado , the S10 is designed in an upright pistol grip form, but measures 18mm thick, the thinnest camcorder in the Camileo range. Featuring a 4x digital zoom and 2.5” LCD flip screen, it takes photos with a 5.0-megapixel sensor and will record up to 8 hours of 1080p HD footage, onto an SD card which can be popped into the slot. The internal memory is paltry at 128MB internal memory, but as everyone’s got a couple of SD cards lying about, we don’t see a problem with that.   Connect it to a HD TV via the HDMI port, or upload straight to YouTube, it will be available in May for £129.99.
