Turn your iPod touch into a phone

Regretting the day you bought an iPod touch ahead of an iPhone? Well, at least you don't get slapped with a monthly bill for 18 months. And as an added bonus, you can also make calls with the so-called 'funnest' iPod if you download the Truphone for iPod touch app. A simple set-up, you just need a microphone adaptor, a wi-fi connection and the Truphone app. Combine the three and you can make free calls to other touch owners, other Truphone users plus Google Talkers. If that's enough, free blabbing to Skype and MSN users is on its way too. Ok, it's not quite the same as having the real deal, but it is at least £35 a month less.
