Surely there's a catch? Well, if you're a heavy user, that's one for a start. But there's also the not-so-small issue of the handset. Let's be honest, if you move in fashion-conscious circles, the phone you use is effectively an extension of your personality. And handsets like the Samsung G600, LG KC550 and Nokia 3120 might have you running a mile. Not that they're bad handsets, the first two pack 5 megapixel cameras, while the third offers 3G connectivity. And with Virgin throwing in Instant Messenger access for free with the Nokia and Samsung, as well as moblle net access for 30p a day, all are serious propositions. But they're just not cutting edge. And that's a serious minus.
