Engadget say that this is all speculation at the moment, but have said that owners have noticed that their fans on their 17-inch Apple MacBook Pro are kicking into high gear when they should not.
Engadget report that both Apple and NVIDIA are spending a lot of time trying to figure out what the exact cause is. The ironic thing is, just last year the MacBook Air suffered with overheating troubles, maybe it is a fan issue.
