Boing Boing Gadgets — ... DVD and Blu-ray to be significant enough to be worth the cost. You know, despite having a 50 inch HDTV, I don't really have much interest in Blu-Ray either. Physical media has become positively antediluvian in my mind. I really do think streaming television is going to be the dark horse that wins the race: it won't really be high-def for years to come, but it'll be high-def enough for most.
