El 57% de los encuestados ya tienen una HDTV hoy y en el 2006 sólo el 30% tenía. Si bien desde el 2000 hasta ahora los precios bajaron un 27% pero los consumidores no comprarán las pantallas con esta nueva tecnología por la baja sino por la calidad que brinda.
Que prácticamente todas las cadenas (sobre todo las más famosas) se estén pasando a HDTV hará que las ventas de estos productos suban increíblemente (actualmente está pasando eso).
