At the set time, the alarm goes off by inducing pulsating vibrations on your finger delivered by the ring. With a little jerk of the finger you can set the alarm to snooze, but should you wish to catch a few more winks than usual, the ring will require sterner jerks than before. This clever ploy ultimately awakens you and preps you for the day ahead. Like they say, nothing better than the sound of silence!

Maybe this time a consumer electronics company will be motivated to actually turn this into a shipping product.
