Yesterday's 10" slimline Acer netbook leak wasn't accompanied by any information, leaving us to blindly speculate about SSDs and so forth. This injustice has been rectified, by a handsy German. An anonymous tipsters passed on these hands-on photos along and full spec list to NetbookNews, though we can't confirm its authenticity: Housing: 2.4 cm thick, 25.5 cm wide, 18.5 cm deep CPU: Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz RAM: 1 GB HDD: 160 GB WLAN: 802.11a/b/g Atheros (goes with ath5k in the kernel 2.6.29er) ...

The name is to be determined; the original post says the prototype is called “BA01,” but an update calls it the “ZG8,” and likely it will have a “trade name” as well (Aspire Two?). It’s running SuSE 11.1 in the pictures but that’s no indication of what it will run when it’s actually released.
