Nintendo Wii to start offering downloadable videos
DVICE Atom Feed — ... video services, it was only a matter of time before the Wii began offering videos as well. Nintendo just announced that, at least in Japan, the Wii will offer up both free and pay videos. Of course, since the Wii isn't HD the videos aren't going to be as high-quality as those offered by Sony and Microsoft, but many more people have Wiis than do Xboxes and Playstations, so this may be a good way to introduce people to downloadable video in the living room.
