Hasta ahora, el SDK de Android sólo estaba disponible para algunos desarrolladores y testers exclusivos pero ya está online el sitio desde donde se puede descargar el código fuente de este Sistema Operativo móvil abierto.
Con el T-Mobile G1 a punto de llegar a las tiendas de USA y UK, ya era hora que la la Open Handset Alliance anunciara la disponibilidad del código de Android.

Somewhere else, Joel said he's a bit cynical about Android, since "Google seems so unconcerned with the project." Hopefully, it being open source will make that unconcern irrelevant.
I don't know, though. I still have probably insane visions of a dual-boot, jailbroken iPhone dancing in my head.
