Por outro lado, como não é só a Maçã que está envolvida, é capaz que a briga contra a Picsel seja feia nos tribunais. Caso ela vença a batalha, porém, o juiz poderá determinar ressarcimentos por cada unidade de iPhone/iPod touch vendida até hoje, podendo até mesmo triplicar o valor da multa como forma de punição.

And apparently Apple also use Picsel Technologies tech as Picsel have filed a lawsuit against Apple saying the Apple iPhone infringes on a patent method of accelerated screen updating.
Which no doubt means either Apple will be taking a trip to their bank and dishing out a bundle of cash to Picsel or, which is more than likely, Apple will again bring their big boy legal team into play, guess we’ll just have to wait and see on this one.

The company claims that without Picsel’s graphics rendering technology, iPhone users would suffer long delays when zooming or panning around documents, web pages and pictures.
Should Apple go all the way to trial and lose, Picsel is asking for compensation and punitive damages amounting to triple the compensation.
