Asus patent: portable electronic device with slide up display

... display, and has a slider screen, displaying the keyboard hidden beneath when it’s propped out in an angular shape turning the entire device into a regular notebook type, but when packed back it’s nothing more than an attractive MID.
Asus could definitely have a device that’s based on the patent in the coming future, but are we ready for product like this, or will we fashion the non-transforming gadgetry still?
