Everything USB - Gadgets, Wireless USB, USB 3.0 —
... like missing an opportunity to cruise down an empty highway. Granted, you can download HD content, but if you are geeks like us, there's an urge to fully leverage the full potential of the notebook. For whatever reasons you are getting Blu-ray, the USB-powered Asus' slim & sleek drive has you covered. ASUS USB 2.0 Blu-ray drive is fingerprint magnet

Better yet, no external power source is needed since the Asus SBC-04D1S-U draws its power from your computer’s USB 2.0 port. Sure, Blu-ray read times peak at 4.8X, but at least you can burn DVDs/CDs and that blue X, it glows ominously as you watch your flicks, which can either be cool or just straight up distracting.
