These shipping numbers are good in their own right but they don't take into consideration the projected holiday sales in Q4. Asus expects fourth quarter numbers to rival these reported figures. The Commercial Times newspaper also reports that profit margins for the EEE PC have been in the 15 - 20% range but expects price drops due to competition to drop margins to the 15% range.
