Asus doing an e-book reader, wait is till the year end

... president Jerry Shen is believed, then we could have the Asus e-book reader anytime by the end of the year. The project isn’t a bad ploy from Asus; market for e-books is steaming, anyone can tap in with the best possible product. If Asus can do an e-book with a good screen and a durable battery life, well under what Sony and Amazon are selling theirs for, why not, they have a good chance. Then, low cost has been the company’s advantage with PCs too.
