The guys over at Gizmodo have got the exclusive on the new Barnes and Noble E-Reader, which is set to be revealed next week.
It looks like the Barnes and Noble E-Reader will feature a black and white e-ink screen, and it will have a multi-touch display check out the photos of it after the break.

The main screen is a 6-inch e-ink display with a resolution of 800x600, and the display beneath it is a multitouch LCD with a resolution of 480x144. This will be used for a keyboard or a secondary display showing any manner of other content. It certainly looks interesting, and more versatile than the Kindle.
The name of this thing as well as pricing and availability info should drop at B&N;'s event next Tuesday, so stay tuned.

B&N will sell the books it also publishes at a deep discount compared to print editions. And the device will have access to all books scanned by the Google Books project. Probably out of print stuff.
