Now, you can import an original SNES controller that is designed to work with the Wii straight from Japan. Made by Nintendo originally for a fan loyalty club in limited numbers, they're now available online for a whopping $75. The price is unfortunate, as I imagine they'd sell tons of these things if they priced them at $20, but I guess you have to take what you can get. Play Asia, Via Kotaku
