Canon's 50D will have a 15.1 megapixel sensor, a Digic 4 image processor, 9-point autofocus, a 3" display, 6.3 fps autofire, a buffer fat enough for 16 RAW images or 60 JPEGs, and live view. These specs are up at Canon's chinese-language site.

It's a little disappointing, more of an incremental upgrade than anything really exciting. Canon needs to pick up its game pretty fast: After years of leading the DSLR market, right now -- with the D3 and D700 -- Nikon is eating Canon's lunch.
