The small, but not particularly subtle dial sits just above the temple and is used to adjust an internal strap which makes the hat fit, and appear, to be larger or smaller. And even though an adjustable cap means the company can save money by not having to produce multiple sizes, you can still expect to pay $40+ depending on the style you choose.
