The holdup is, unsurprisingly, the console manufacturers (Wild guess: Likely just MS and Sony), who were wary of supporting the device until a good number of developers embraced the technology. From Anderson's viewpoint, that support has materialized, somewhere, and companies are now "piling on" the Falcon. So, a console version is more likely now than it was in September, but it's still a ways from being a done deal. [Joystiq]

It’s true. Well, sorta. CEO Tom Anderson reportedly said that they are trying to get the Falcon controller ported over by the end of 2009. This would be excellent, because while expensive, the Falcon controller is considered to be the best thing out there for many games, including the excellent Left 4 Dead title.
Currently, there’s not a whole lot of information available, however console manufacturers were apparently waiting to see if there was much demand for the controller before starting the process of licensing it. That makes ...
