Engadget — Oh, heaven help us all. Just when we thought SanDisk had taken a hint and stopped promoting its slotMusic initiative entirely, in flies this. Quite honestly, we weren't aware that it could get any worse, but this friends, is worse. The Sansa slotRadio player includes a fairly intriguing 1.5-inch OLED display, a useful FM tuner and a slotRadio card with 1,000 hits that were "handpicked from the Billboard charts." Tech Ticker —   SanDisk doesn’t seem to have learnt a lesson from its slotMusic initiative. Now that slotMusic has taken a backseat (assuming weak sales), the new bold move comes in the form of slotRadio. The slotRatio line consists of a music player and a microSD card. If a user is willing to shell out $100, he’ll get a slotRadio music card which has 1,000 songs handpicked from the Billboard charts and a compatible music player featuring a 1.5-inch OLED screen to display song info and integrated FM Radio.
