Uh, oops. Sorry Nikon but your D3x is now even less of a mystery. According to your own Pro magazine, the D3x will sport an FX-format, 24.5 megapixel sensor shooting 5fps at full resolution or 7fps at a reduced 10 megapixels. Nikon have revealed their new D3x DSLR camera, and chosen a somewhat old-skool way to do so: their print magazine, Nikon Pro. The 24.5-megapixel, FX-format camera is capable of 5fps at full resolution or 10-megapixel shots at up to 7fps. However there aren’t the huge leaps in specification or capabilities that many would-be owners were hoping for.
ISO range is 100 to 1600, extendable to 50 and 6400 respectably, and the D3x is still based on the D3’s 16-bit EXPEED processor. 51-point auto-focus, scene recognition and autofocus tracking are all present, together with a 3-inch LCD display, weather-resistant ...
