Hitting up QVC makes a great deal of sense for Dell because it allows them to go after the stay-at-home population which is arguably hot for netbooks these days.
So without further ado, here’s what you need to know about the new 10 inch netbook system:

And this is after being briefly (and we stress "briefly") unveiled in a 3- x 3-foot cubical at CES, being impersonated at Tecso by the smaller Mini 9 and showing up early on QVC. Yeah, weird. At any rate, we ...

Dell Mini 10 glamour shots available
CrunchGear —
While we haven’t got any more major news about the Mini 10 (like when it’s shipping, officially), Dell has finally put some decent pictures up on their site. The price hasn’t changed, it’s still going to be $499, and we’ll update more as soon as more information becomes available. You’ve got to admit though, they look pretty good. Better then most netbooks out there in fact. ...
Dell 10in Inspiron - not so inspiring?
UK Gadget and Tech News, Reviews and Shopping —
Dell is to release its new 10 inch netbook on Thursday. Initially it will have XP installed, have 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive and a 1.33GHz Intel Atom CPU. You also get Wi-Fi in the form of 802.11 b/g. In the future, you will be able to buy the netbook with faster CPUs, bigger hard drives, and more RAM. An option to have Ubuntu pre-installed is also happening later in the year. You can even have an HSDPA 3G module and TV tuner if you want. What makes this new netbook from Dell so fantastic and special? Not much. In fact it is symptomatic of the way netbooks seem to be going. If we cast our mind backs all the way to the release of the Asus EEE PC 701, back in late 2007, we ...
$35 Buys You 25% Less Scrolling on a Netbook
jkOnTheRun —
After a long travel day to Las Vegas, I get to catch up on the news I missed yesterday. There’s plenty that happened; it usually does the day before a big mobile technology convention like CTIA. But what struck me outside of the mobile handset news floating around is Engadget’s bit on the rather inexpensive option Dell added to the Mini 10 netbook. For $35, you can move from a 1024×576 display to one with 1366×768 resolution. That’s a wee bit better than what you need for high definition 720p video and one heck of a good value for the price.
The higher resolution should also help when web browsing, which is the big value here ...
Dell Mini 10 ATSC TV tuner available today
SlashGear —
Dell have announced that their ATSC TV tuner option for the Inspiron Mini 10 will go on offer today, together with two new color options. The TV tuner will cost an extra $50 on top of the netbooks’ basic $299 price tag, and offer access to over-the-air HD broadcasts.
While the tuner itself is internal, it will use an external two-aerial antenna, as shown in the photo above. As for the new colors, they will be “passion purple” and a new cherry red hue as part of the (PRODUCT) RED charity scheme. Dell will donate $5 to the Global Fund for every such Mini 10 sold.
At time of writing there’s no sign of ...
