Ubuntu Linux

No Bluetooth, no camera
So it’s not a powerhouse by any means but, hey, couch + netbook = never having to get up.

Bettering their previous deals by $50, I'd say it's high time to pick up a Mini 9 for Hackintoshing, wouldn't you? It's the low-end spec'd Mini, so you probably want to bump the RAM up to 1GB or 2GB and the SSD up to 16GB if you're planning on installing OS X which will add another $100, but $299 for that spec is still mighty fine. For under two bills, you can now grab yourself an Obsidian Black 8.9-inch netbook with a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, WiFi, a 4-cell battery, GMA950 graphics, 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD and a copy of Ubuntu Linux. Of course, that price heads up a hundred bucks if you just can't live without Windows XP, but if there's ever been a time for learning how to deal within an open source environment, we'd say this is it.
