Dell's version of a smart phone, which was rumoured to be a potential "iPhone killer", capable of running Google Android as well as Windows Mobile, was in fact ruled too boring by cellphone carriers and sent back to the drawing board. Whether they will come back with something fabulous or never get this project off the ground remains to be seen.
